The Marine & the U.S. Armed Forces

Semper Fidelis & The Marine

The Marines is a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces that provides U.S. power projection at sea. As outlined in the National Security Act of 1947, the marines have 3 primary responsibilities. This includes the seizure of advanced naval bases as well as land operations in order to support campaigns of the navy and other duties that the President of the United States may direct. The Marine Corps’ historical mission is to function as an infantry unit inside naval ships. Today of course, the Marines do more than that. The Marines and Marine Corp's Motto: Semper Fidelis.

Training to Recieve the Eagle Globe and Anchor

Training to be a marine is very rigid that is why the Marines are a proud bunch and with reason of course. Marines are trained to the highest standard of physical and mental strength. From week 1 arriving at Parris Island, S.C. to finally receiving the eagle, globe and anchor the soldier recieves the honor to be called a marine. Driven by purpose and guided by American values, the Marine Corps is only made up of quality citizens who will fight for the country and the freedom it enjoys. There is no easy way in though because the Marine Corps is only a place for warriors. To find Marine t-shirts click here.
